Frequently asked questions
When does the vault unlock?
Clips stay hidden while the trip is active. The shared film becomes available once the trip reaches its end and processing finishes.
Can anyone see my clip before the reveal?
No. Storage rules block reads for every member, including you, until the trip ends. This is enforced on the server, not just in the app.
What if I miss a prompt?
Nothing happens. The slot is skipped, there is no penalty, and you are not re-notified for it.
Can I record without being prompted?
Yes. Every member gets a daily self-initiated allowance, set when the trip is created. Those clips follow the same lock rules.
How do I delete my account?
Open Panoptik, go to Settings, select Account, then Delete Account. If you cannot sign in, use the account deletion page.
Is Panoptik on Android?
Not yet. Panoptik is iOS only for now.
